Should you have the flu vaccination?
Every year flu is responsible for many thousands of deaths in the UK. The flu virus changes every year so even if you have previously had the vaccination you won’t be protected against this year’s strain.
Some at-risk groups, such as all those over 65 years and people with long-term health conditions, are eligible for a free flu vaccination on the NHS. Use our flu eligibility checker to find out if you are eligible.
